HCE'S coveted festival, Homecoming Africa (HCA), was launched in 2016 as a Pan-African experience that seeks to promote the continent along with its musical and tourism offerings. Leveraging off the support around the Homecoming Picnic, the popular event was rebranded into Homecoming Africa. HCA is a celebration of African music, culture and lifestyle as well as the building of a cultural bridge between international artists and local support bases.

In 2023, HomeComing Events embarked on a mission to craft an immersive experience with a blend of nostalgic charm to curate a new property for our audience. This vision gave rise to Friends Like Me, an event designed to offer the quintessential picnic experience, complete with delectable food, refreshing drinks, captivating musical performances, and the joy of shared laughter among friends, all set amidst the picturesque backdrop of the Pretoria National Botanical Gardens.

The Sun City Takeover is HCE's 4-day destination event. Carefully curated to provide patrons with a combination of a travelling experience as well as entertainment value. The Takeover speaks directly to the need for young professionals to travel with friends and engage in exciting new experiences, hosted at the Sun City Resort.

Hatfield Freshers was born of an insatiable desire to bring a buzzing student culture back into the Hatfield area. Playing on the nostalgia of many, Hatfield Freshers seeks to be a vehicle that will return the Hatfield area back to its former glory by creating and cultivating safe and innovative spaces for young people. It is from these ideas of innovation, safety and inspiring the next generation of professionals and entertainers alike that Hatfield Freshers came to be.

The curation of The Suit and Tie experience is a highly orchestrated effort that involves many parties to make the event a success. Going hand-in-hand with building support from donors and volunteers, the experience seeks to naturally raise awareness about our foundation. Suit and Tie provides a platform to update on timelines of the Foundation's achievements and new developments, which will show stakeholders how integral and impactful their support has been towards the cause.

The Mnandi United Football Association of South Africa (MUFASA) also known as The Groove Champions League is a soccer tournament where renowned event organisers and entertainment industry stakeholders come together for a day filled with activity and the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals. These games are fun to watch, exhilarating as well as cohesive for the young people who participate on and off the field.

In a bid to close off the year for HomeComing Events, we will be hosting our signature NYE TshwaneFontein celebration in the Pretoria region and our goal is to provide an experience that surpasses consumer expectations. The NYE event promises to be one for the culture-shifting books and HCE will be curating a safe and inclusive experience for individuals who have been loyal to the TshwaneFontein brand over the years.

Artist on The Rise property is aimed at giving upcoming artists and DJ's a platform to showcase their capabilities. Artists send in their demos and they are then shortlisted to perform at the experience. The top 3 artists will automatically become part of HCE's music festival, HomeComing Africa.

Commonly referred to as "The Fountain of Youth" is a cross culture event that is presented by HCE which seeks to build a social bridge for the youth, who have shared artistic and musical taste. The event took place on the last Sunday of each month at African Beer Emporium in the 012 Central courtyard with a line-up of alternative sounds from local acts to one headliner performer per event. Tshwanefontein had a constantly growing clientele which sat at 1300 every month, however all good things have to come to an end.

When "The Fountain of Youth" invades Polokwane. Over the past 12 years, HomeComing Events has received tremendous support from the people of Polokwane. HomeComing Picnic saw its first trip to Polokwane in 2013 which was a success. Additionally, HCE hosted a Polokwane experience in collaboration with Major League Gardens on the 16th of December 2014 at the Polokwane Stadium where it attracted over 6000 locals and loyal patrons who travelled from Gauteng and other provinces. Hence, as a way to give back to them we decided to take one of our best events to the province.
