Homecoming Picnic began as a gathering that brought friends together during the holidays at the Pretoria Botanical Gardens for a relaxed, fun, and social experience. It was inspired by the desire to create a space where friends could reconnect and enjoy music. This gathering became the foundation of what is now known as Homecoming Events.

The Mnandi United Football Association of South Africa aka The Groove Champions League is a soccer tournament where teams from surrounding townships, renowned entertainment industry stakeholders come together for an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals. In 2024, we expanded the MUFASA to include a Netball tournament too!

As a market leader in the live entertainment space, it was incumbent on HomeComing Events to ideate and produce concepts that are interesting, innovative and spoke directly to the market's needs. HCE was able to successfully execute the property across 3 regions alongside Flying Fish.
